SUMMARY:

Ok, I am trying to create a classic note that can be used as a content box in a website or as a webflyer.

This tutorial uses Eraser to decrease sharpness of light. some other tools used are pen tool

1.Create 281x216 pixels with white background. Select Pen Tool in the Toolbox or simply press P. Draw a path similar to the image below.. Press Ctrl + Enter to create a selection.

2. Press G to select Paint Bucket , Double click a Set Foreground Color located to the lower part of the Toolbox. Set colors into R: 240 G: 244 B: 234 then press OK. Make sure you create a new layer named Paper before you left-click inside a selection area.

3.To apply shadow you need to add a new layer below the Paper and name it Papershadow. Select Pen Tool in the Toolbox and do the same on the image below;

4.After you turn the path into selection (Ctrl+Enter) just press Ctrl+Alt+D to change the value of Feather Radius into 2.Click Ok.Use a Paint Bucket to fill a selection 60% black or R: 128, G: 130, B: 132.

5.To create a dark to light colors to become more realistic. Select Pen Tool and draw a path similar to the image below. Ctrl+Enter to select. Set the Feather Radius into 1.5.

6.On theLayer palette right click a Create new fill ,select Brightness / Contrast and decrease the brightness into -20 and contrast to -5. Make sure the Brightness / Contrast is on the top of layer labeled Paper . Rename fill as Dark

7. Turn on Auto select layer located on the option bar.Select a layer Paper on a working area. Ctrl+click the layer named Paper on the Layer palette, not on the working area. Go to Select > inverse or simply press Ctrl+Alt+I, then select a layer Brightness/Contrast on the layer window and press Delete. See the result below.

8.This next step will use different sizes of Eraser. Select Eraser on the Toolbox. Set the following: Mode: Brush , capacity: 100, flow:100

9.The previous step was for Dark Part only and this one is for the light part. Select Pen Tool. Make a path similar to the image below. Ctrl+Enter to select. Press Ctrl+Alt+D to change the Feather Radius to 1.5 pixels. Click OK.

10. Same on Step 6. Right click Create New Fill on the layer window,. Select Brightness/Contrast. Change the value of the following: Brightness:15; Contrast: 5 . Click OK. Rename the fill as,type Light.

11.Same on Step7. Select the layer Paper. Press Ctrl+click the layer Paper on the Layer palette. Press Ctrl+shift+I to inverse. Then select the Top layer named Light on layer window, then press Delete to remove the excess light outside the paper.

12.Select Eraser on the Tool Box. Play the different sizes of Eraser by pressing [ ] as a hot key.See the image below,Decrease the light using eraser. See the images below.

13.You can change the color of your paper by selecting the layer Paper in the Layer palette. Go to Image>Adjust>Hue/Saturation.

follow this setting then click OK.:

14.Select Text on Toolbox. Set the Font Size you desired. Then Right click the text on layer window and click the Rasterized Type. Duplicate the layer of the text. Go to Filter > Blur > Gaussan Blur.Set the radius into 1.click OK.
